In many golf clubs it is not only a question if guests and members can play on good courses, but also the gastronomy and possibly hotel stays are something guests emphasize.

More and more golf restaurants and golf resorts have weekend packages or other good offers for stays that include both gastronomy and green fees.

There are many other places in the golf restaurant or at the resort where there can be efficiency with few simple tools. Eg. then some golf restaurants may also have self-service in the restaurant.

People can order at the bar or counter, and then get handed out a pager that buzz and flashes when their food is ready. They can then pick up the food themselves at the bar or at a pick-up point near the kitchen.

Such a guest call system is easy and efficient and allows guests to get their food ready.

SERVICE CALL OR STAFF CALL
Some golf clubs even have a hotel or other type of resort where there are often other departments to ensure that guests experience good service.

It can as example be that you have a spa and wellness department. In these you can use call buttons which are placed by the pool, or where people lie on sun loungers and relax. They can then call for service using the call button and the service people can respond immediately.

It may also be that therapists in the treatment rooms need to call for assistance without having to leave the guest or the treatment room, and  they can call for an assistant at the touch of a button.

The assistant or staff to be called has a watch on the arm that vibrates when called and can see from which room or daybed is being called.

There are also other products that increase the service in a golf club, and one of these is;

Many golfers use their cell phones as a GPS when on the course. This causes loss of power, and when they get to the clubhouse or restaurant they need to be charged.

Many will quickly leave the restaurant to find power at home or in the hotel, and this is not to the advantage of the restaurant who would like them to stay as long as possible with hopefully further purchases of food or drinks.

If you have the service that the guest can borrow a charger, they will often be on site longer with increased sales as a result.
